New York-based design firm TPG Architecture has announced the promotion of four team members to managing executive roles. The announcement arrives in anticipation of the firm’s upcoming 40th-anniversary celebration.
Former studio director Bette Samuel, who holds 35 years of experience in the field, will lend her expertise to budgeting, programming, and overall coordination to support the growth of TPG. Albert Thompson, also a former studio director, will serve as a managing executive with TPG’s Long Island, New York office, where he has served the practice since 1997. Suzette Subance, who joined TPG in 2012, has been promoted from studio creative director to managing executive as well. Mavis Wiggins, who has been with TPG since 2010, rounds out the appointments.
“As TPG Architecture has grown, we found that adding new members to our core leadership would not only strengthen us but bring us closer to our goals as a firm. We are thrilled to announce the appointment of each new managing executive,” says Jim Phillips, founder and managing executive for TPG.
