California-based international furniture supplier Doug Mockett & Company has announced the appointment of Tyra Cunningham to the role of president. A veteran of the company for the last two decades, Cunningham first joined the team in 2000 as a customer service representative. She went on to serve as assistant customer service manager and customer service manager before accepting the title of general manager and then ascending to vice president in 2017. The Los Angeles native and U.S. Army veteran holds a bachelor’s degree in management, as well as a master’s in business administration with a specialization in management.
“All of the words of encouragement and constructive criticism throughout the years have prepared me for this position,” Cunningham says. “I look forward to my new duties and I assure you, I will not disappoint.”
