Interior design firm Meyer Davis Studio has conceptualized the design behind the Auberge Beach Residences & Spa Fort Lauderdale, the company’s first residential-only property, located on the Florida Gold Coast.
The 171-residence beachfront condominium complex sits on beachfront property. The lobby is designed to mimic an art gallery and will feature part of a contemporary art collection found throughout the property. A collection highlight is “La Maternidad,” a bronze sculpture by Fernando Botero. Natural lighting will highlight the décor’s bright, neutral tones, and natural wood finishes.
“Original works of art will infuse Auberge Beach Residences & Spa with energy and sophistication,” says Jorge M. Pérez, founder, chairman, and CEO of the Related Group, part of the development team. “Artist Fernando Botero is among the most renowned artists of his generation. The introduction of his “La Maternidad” sculpture to the property’s permanent collection signifies our commitment to introduce an unmatched luxury lifestyle and cultural experience to Fort Lauderdale.”
Each residence will range in size from 1,500 to 5,000 square feet and will feature flow-through contemporary floor plans with nearly 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows. Oversized terraces—some containing private pools—with continuous glass railings will allow for unobstructed city and ocean views. The living spaces will be built around a spacious contemporary chef’s kitchen.
A restaurant on site will have indoor-outdoor seating arrangements, an expansive outdoor bar, and will offer American bistro cuisine.
