Thompson Seattle has launched its new signature F&B spot, the sleek and refreshing all-day concept, Conversation. Chicago-based design firm Rebel House Design oversaw the design of the eatery, located in downtown Seattle, which evokes a midcentury style blended with contemporary minimalism.
An array of custom designs populate the dining room in tandem with vintage details that subtly infuse intimacy. Wild local foliage spans the interior to inject earthy tones into the concrete, dark steel, and black walnut materials. Chandeliers add a brassy accent above the sculptural leather lounge seating and sage mohair banquettes. Glazed zellige mosaic tile adorn the bar area, while a dramatic, double-sided fireplace is clad with custom fluted walnut panels.
