Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group has opened its 17th nationwide Del Frisco’s Grille restaurant—the group’s second in the Houston area.
Located in the Woodlands community on Restaurant Row at Hughes Landing on Lake Woodlands, the restaurant follows the group’s first Houston location, which opened in 2013.
“We are pleased to continue expanding in Texas with our new Woodlands restaurant,” says Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group. “Our Grille concept is a great fit for Hughes Landing. We look forward to providing the community and visitors with a vibrant and unique dining experience.”
Designed by Phoenix-based ID Studio 4, the 8,000-square-foot restaurant seats 233 with additional capacity for 131 on its adjoining 3,000-square-foot waterfront patio, next to the Hughes Landing live entertainment area.
Modern lines were softened by juxtaposing polished concrete floors and an exposed structure with wood planking. Rift cut white oak walls were additionally paired with natural steel screens and Cambrian black granite counters. Pops of red and orange appear throughout the dining spaces.
After spending nine years as executive chef of Jasper’s on Market Street in the Woodlands, executive chef Brian McNamara joins Del Frisco’s as head of its new location’s culinary team.
