Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has announced plans to launch Premier nightclub this spring.
New York-based Josh Held Design will conceive the $14 million nightlife and entertainment venue.
At 18,000 square feet, the venue will combine the existing area from former nightclub Mixx with newly created space.
An ornate yet modern space with tiered banquettes, a DJ booth, a stage, and a digital proscenium will greet guests of the theatrical nightclub. Backed by mirrors with pierced metal elements, two 35-foot-long bars with carved stone faces will flank the main room.
Surrounded by a 25-foot chandelier with programmable lighting, a 6-foot disco ball will serve as the club’s focal point. A large staircase accented by bronze filigree will lead to a horseshoe-shaped mezzanine.
