Now open in Washington, DC’s the Wharf neighborhood, Limani offers its signature Mediterranean dining experience within a striking three-story, glass-enclosed building perched above the Potomac River.
Whitlock Design Group in collaboration with architect of record //3877 crafted the restaurant, which span two floors of dining space and a penthouse roof deck with panoramic views.
Limani DC stands as a jewel box structure characterized by dramatic white beams that accentuate floor-to-ceiling glass walls. On its ground floor, a 200-foot-tall art display of swimming fish fluidly blends with the vibrant wharf surroundings.
Guests are welcomed into a 119-seat cocktail lounge adorned with custom chandeliers and opulent marble surfaces. Imported elements, including Venetian plaster and ancient Greek urns, curate an authentic and immersive atmosphere.
Ascending the grand staircase, the second floor hosts a 220-seat dining room, complete with a private dining area. Here, a bronze wine room houses Limani’s extensive collection behind glass walls.
The penthouse, equipped with a pergola system with operable partitions to ensure year-round usage, offers 38 interior seats and 135 exterior seats. The LEED-certified building also boasts a meticulously maintained green roof.
