Lumen Detroit is slated to make its debut on the city’s F&B scene early next month as part of the new Beacon Park project. Spread across 4,000 square feet, the 125-seat eatery is clad with sliding glass walls that open to reveal an outdoor patio.
Birmingham, Michigan-based Saroki Architecture oversaw the interior design as well as the patio design for the restaurant, while Sterling Heights, Michigan-based Roncelli, Inc. crafted the building itself. The restaurant is also equipped with a grand outdoor staircase that leads visitors to a sustainable green roof designed by architecture practice Touloukian Touloukian.
