In collaboration with executive chef Michael Fiorello, Tom Colicchio has opened Beachcraft within 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach in Miami.
Also the designer of the hotel, New York-based Meyer Davis Studio crafted the restaurant with a coastal-inspired aesthetic to resemble Colicchio’s Craft restaurants, situated throughout New York City and Los Angeles. The 85-seat main dining room features an open kitchen in the back and a concrete-topped bar that seats 22 guests. Additional seating is available in the adjacent private dining room and on the patio.
A private bar and lounge on the mezzanine level provides views of the dining room below and outdoor seating overlooking the city. Colicchio also heads the hotel’s lobby bar, Tom on Collins, and the Sand Box, a poolside restaurant and bar that serves taqueria-inspired dishes.
