Caesars Palace Las Vegas has debuted a new Mr. Chow restaurant, designed by owner and restaurateur Michael Chow.
“Mr. Chow’s elevated Chinese cuisine and chic atmosphere perfectly complement the impressive culinary collection of celebrity chef-helmed restaurants of Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa, Guy Savoy, and more,” says Caesars Palace regional president Gary Selesner of the seventh Mr. Chow location, which joins existing outposts in Miami, Malibu, Beverly Hills, New York, and the London flagship.
A champagne lounge entry point greets patrons on the casino floor, where Jeff Koons’ “Balloon Venus” sculpture is on display. A set of private elevators then leads to the approximately 250-seat, 1,600-square-foot restaurant.
A wine room distinguished by a floor-to-ceiling glass partition sits opposite a lounge with plush bronze furniture and custom Clive Barker artwork. The round, white Venetian plaster– and plexiglass-lined dining room boasts outer banquette seating around a large, centralized floral arrangement.
The dark wood bar’s shelving extends to the ceiling, while a fiberglass– and aluminum-framed sculpture resembling a moon hangs from the restaurant’s 60-foot dome. Throughout the evening, the white sculpture conducts a four-minute show, during which it maneuvers into numerous configurations, revealing its blue interior. The restaurant includes three private dining rooms and four terraces with seasonal seating.
Caesars Palace is also currently reimagining the Roman Tower, which will be dubbed Julius Tower upon completion.
