Restaurateurs Frederik Berselius and Claus Meyer have opened their latest project, Norman, at the A/D/O creative space in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood. The 23,000-square-foot eatery features a strong Nordic influence with architecture from New York-based firm nARCHITECTS and interior designer Christina Meyer Bengtsson.
The central open kitchen and a long marble bar serve as the nucleus of the space, which is appointed with detailed tiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook Wythe and Norman avenues. Indoor seating accommodates up to 140 guests, along with seasonal outdoor dining. The restaurant will become a space for the creatives at A/D/O to explore the intersection of culinary innovation and design.
