Rossbarth has debuted in Linz, Austria as the first culinary concept from chefs Marco Barth and Sebastian Rossbach. Designed within a heritage-protect structure by Viennese firm destilat Design Studio GmbH, the restaurant is grounded in simplicity and elegance that honors the historic interiors of the building.
Suspended ceilings have been removed to redeem the original arched ceiling, which were restored along with numerous other surfaces. Smoked oak and scaled sheet steel that adorn the interior are crafted by local artisans to complement the restrained aesthetic and highlight regional craftsmanship. destilat also achieved a steady connection between the kitchen and the dining room thanks to an open floorplan that also comprises a reception, lounge area, bar, and small guest area that features an adjacent library.
