The latest Katsuya location has debuted within the newly opened Baha Mar Casino in the Bahamas. Expanding sbe’s existing Katsuya lineup to 10, the restaurant is designed by Philippe Starck with a contemporary, Japanese-inspired flair.
Natural wood elements span the interior, contrasting white and tan leather seating. High ceilings, opulent accents, and backlit Japanese iconography amplify the glamour of the space. The Dragon Room, a brand signature, will serve as a private dining room complete with custom wallpaper designed to resemble dragon scales for a dramatic statement. The room will also feature a striking color contrast with varying black, white, and gray notes with splashes of red.
Sbe will roll out 10 restaurant and lounge concepts over the next six months along with a 299-room SLS hotel at Baha Mar.
