Caviar purveyor Petrossian has revealed its new 1,075-square-foot boutique space in Paris. Local design practice Studio MHNA crafted Maison Petrossian with a material palette composed of both contemporary and classic elements to reflect the luxury brand’s history while embracing the future.
Burnished oak veneers adorn the walls to infuse warmth and character, while ivory and terrazzo floors, reminiscent of an Italian palace, span the interior. A gold-toned aluminum mosaic also embellishes round pillars for an extra dash of glamor. A caviar display serves as the nucleus of the store, with lacquered frames in the company’s signature blue accenting the counter alongside tanned and textured sturgeon skin. Velvet booths in deep blue tones also anchor the space against a custom mural backdrop by artist Antonin Lamoot that depicts the iconic rough sea that adorns every tin of Petrossian caviar.
