1 Hotels has expanded its footprint of sustainable luxury lodging destinations with the launch of its eighth property: 1 Hotel Nashville. Crafted by Workshop/APD and the in-house design team at SH Hotels & Resorts, the urban oasis is distinguished by 1 Hotels’ signature ivy-covered façade and native landscaping.
“With the opening of 1 Hotel Nashville, we celebrate our brand’s entry into this dynamic and culturally rich region,” says Barry Sternlicht, 1 Hotels founder and chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital Group. “We’re excited to bring a tangible demonstration of our overarching mission, vision, and purpose—including a commitment to luxury sustainability, communities, holistic health and wellness, and natural design—to an iconic city, admired for its positive energy, devotion to live music, down-home hospitality, festive food, and family fun.”
Throughout the property, details like reclaimed wood panels convey a natural sense of place. A trio of F&B options are hosted onsite, including the rustic 1 Kitchen Nashville on the ground floor and laidback café Neighbors. Harriet’s Rooftop Bar crowns the hotel with a casual ambiance enhanced by views of the Smoky Mountains. Numerous wellness amenities—including the Bamford Wellness Spa, Anatomy fitness, and a yoga studio—are also featured, while more 32,000 square feet of meeting and event space round out the onsite offerings.
Each of the 215 guestrooms, which includes 37 suites, are anchored by rough-hewn posted beds and workbench-inspired vanities that infuse tactility and showcase local craftsmanship. Sustainable touchpoints—such as in-room chalkboards, wooden room keys, and hangers fashioned from 100-percent recycled paper—are also found throughout.
