1 Hotels has revealed plans to expand its portfolio with three new locations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Haitang Bay, Sanya, China; and Sunnyvale, California.
Slated for debut in late 2018, 1 Hotel Haitang Bay will mark the brand’s entry in the Chinese market. Designed by Hong Kong-based Oval Partnership, the 280-room hotel will house three sky villas, a 1 Hotels signature organic spa, fitness center, pool, and more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space. The property will also accommodate an onsite farm and 15,000 square feet of dining space.
1 Hotels & Homes Cabo will arrive in the fall of 2019 on the historic Hacienda site. In addition to 115 guestrooms and 50 residences, the resort will be home to four swimming pools, two signature eateries, an organic spa, fitness center, juice bar, and rooftop bar. More than 6,000 square feet of conference and event space will also be featured.
Situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, 1 Hotel Sunnyvale will open in late 2019 as the brand’s first West Coast location, just steps away from Google’s Mountainview campus. Developed by Starwood Capital in partnership with San Francisco-based SB Architects, the design will have an emphasis on wellness, conscious living, and sustainability. The renovation project will host 332 guestrooms, a 9,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, more than 10,000 square feet of F&B space, and 19,000 square feet of meeting space.
The brand recently debuted its 1 Hotel Central Park and 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach locations in New York and Miami, respectively. 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge will open later this month.
