25hours has celebrated its arrival in the French market with the 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord opposite the Gare du Nord in Paris’ 10th arrondissement. Local architect Axel Schoenert collaborated with Augsburg, Germany-based design firm Dreimeta on the design.
Parisian art consultancy Visto Images curated the hotel’s artful flair, which includes the large-format Neighborhood Heroes portrait series, which depicts a variety of local residents. The hotel’s signature eatery Neni boasts a large communal table and upholstered benches and chairs that reinterpret traditional French savoir-vivre The focal point of Sape Bar is a large counter made from bronze-toned mosaic glass, while dark floors, green curtains, and leather chairs recall a gentlemen’s club. The adjacent Speakeasy Bar is also featured onsite.
Spread across six floors, the 237 guestrooms feature African and Asian influences across five color schemes, including Asian-inspired carpet patterns and African fabrics and floral wallpaper.
