The 25hours Hotel Number One in Hamburg has unveiled its recent refresh from Driemeta, which has yielded numerous surprises including a new restaurant. The renovation and modernization of the hotel’s public spaces on the ground floor impacted areas such as the lobby, retail space, and conference and event facilities.
“The hotel creates its unmistakable identity with timeless, elegant, and familiar style elements while still remaining true to its dynamic character and creating something brand new,” says Armin Fischer, designer at Driemeta. “Good design is also always a backdrop for your own presence—nobody needs conventions or trends if design and ambience can travel from the eye to the heart in such an unfiltered way.”
Crafted with a reinterpreted midcentury-style design, the new speisebar restaurant comprises a café, bistro, and bar. The eatery is adorned with a warm, earthy palette accented with gold tones. Zesty shapes and opulent vintage furniture wrapped in leather also populate much of speisebar. The neighboring conference room is appointed to inspire creativity with organic furnishings that complement a sense of minimalism radiated by corner sofas and a podium.
