Marriott International has opened the AC Hotel Miami Beach, furthering the AC brand’s U.S. expansion in the lifestyle sector.
Designed by Miami-based Kobi Karp Architecture, the hotel’s interiors were imagined with a minimalist aesthetic, while clean and simple lines are paired with a European style to create a distinctly modern feel. Open-concept spaces are outfitted with modern furnishings and décor. Guestrooms feature sleek furnishings, an open closet system, and hardwood floors.
The hotel’s debut also marks the introduction of a new signature F&B program, designed by the Liquid Projects-founder Jennifer Massolo, which references the brand’s Spanish roots with tapas-style dishes.
The seven-story property houses a contemporary art collection in its own art gallery, curated by Miami-based gallerist Dina Mitrani.
Additional amenities include the AC Library, where guests and locals can enjoy a curated collection of celebrity fashion photographer Nigel Barker’s favorite books; a rooftop pool; the AC Kitchen; a fitness center; and 270 square feet of meeting space.
