Adare Manor in Limerick, Ireland is slated to reveal its 18-month renovation and expansion this fall. The transformation of the historic Neo-Gothic structure is led by London firm ReardonSmith Architects (RSA), and will embrace the signature architectural heritage of the original design, while also receiving contemporary and technological upgrades.
Finishes, furniture, and woodwork will be restored in the overhaul along with external stonework and windows. The expansion will house a new 42-room wing, bringing the room count to 104. The new wing will also be home to a large ballroom suitable for up to 350 guests. The structure will be outfitted with limestone—a tribute to the original Manor House—which will feature a new spa, pool, relaxation area, boardroom, and cinema.
A full redesign of the golf clubhouse by David Collins Studio London is also planned, while the property’s celebrated golf course will be upgraded by Tom Fazio.
