The historic Patterson Mansion in Washington, DC will open this July as the rebranded luxury concept Ampeer. Spanning 92 units in the city’s Dupont Circle neighborhood, Ampeer will pioneer the upscale communal living model from Frank Saul, founder and CEO of the project’s co-developer Saul Urban. Locally based architecture firm Hartman Cox oversaw the property’s transformation in collaboration with fellow DC-based designer Darryl Carter.
“Frank’s vision was to maintain the building’s elegance, while merging it with modern flare,” Carter says. “What we have created in Ampeer has gone beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Its historic roots proved to be a spectacular canvas to reimagine what an elite living space could be. Simply put, walking through those doors, you enter a whole new world.”
A variety of spaces will be installed to accommodate onsite social programming, including the ballroom, dining room, fitness center, and library.
