Overlooking 984 feet of beachfront in Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula, luxury beachfront resort the Anam will debut in April. Conceived by the property’s owner Pham Van Hien, the design is inspired by the nation’s Indochine era, and evokes nostalgia with imperial-style roofs, lanterns, big-bellied water vases, encaustic mosaic floor tiling, and stone pathways.
Shaded by 3,000 palm trees, the 12-acre property features 117 villas and 96 guestrooms and suites. The light and airy accommodations range in size from 538 to 2,938 square feet and include king-sized beds, sustainable hardwood finishes, and mosaic floors. Bathrooms are outfitted with gray slate stone tiling as well as deep soaking tubs and separate rain showers. Each villa bathroom embraces a private garden as its backdrop, which room and suite bathtubs can open up to. All villas boast terraces or balconies, while 27 have their own swimming pool.
The 4,300-square-foot Sri Mara Spa comprises two private hilltop pool villas that house a steam room and sunken granite Jacuzzi. Other 5-Star amenities include a restaurant, pool bar, beach club, 3D cinema, meeting room, ballroom, tennis court, playground, kids’ club, and three pools and meeting rooms.
