Quadrum Global has announced that its latest hotel brand, Arlo Hotels, will be launched this fall in New York. A 325-key property will open in Hudson Square in September and a 250-key location in NoMad will follow in October. The new brand will serve adventurous travelers who embrace urban exploration.
New York-based AvroKO will design the properties’ interiors with each property boasting inclusive public spaces, allowing guests to relax, listen to music, play board games, work or socialize in the common areas. Compact and efficient guestrooms will feature warm, high-quality materials and elements such as fold-down desk and closets with adjustable hooks.
“The Arlo Hotels properties were designed with a specific type of guest and particular energy in mind,” says Matthew Goodrich, CCO of AvroKO. “The spaces, both guestrooms and common areas, put community building at center stage and bring outsiders together as insiders. Arlo Hotels offers more than a room for the night; it’s a creative, interactive experience that connects visitors to other innovative people, and supports their individual exploration and discovery.”
Guestrooms at Arlo Hudson Square will be filled will multifunctional furniture, expansive storage space, and a variety of beds with wool-tufted area rugs, warm walnut furnishings, and rain showers. Large windows will showcase city and courtyard views; select rooms will also have an outdoor terrace. The hotel offers indoor-outdoor spaces including a rooftop bar (inspired by an artist’s loft) and a courtyard; the Living Room; the Library, a daytime co-working space and evening hangout area; and the playful lobby bar. Arlo Nomad will bear similar décor and designs, and feature a rooftop bar with views of Midtown Manhattan. A laidback second-floor bar will include an attached terrace.
