In partnership with Hollywood producer Meir Teper and Robert De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa has opened Asia’s first Nobu Hotel at City of Dreams Manila, designed by New York-based Rockwell Group.
A new addition to Nobu Hospitality’s nine-hotel portfolio, the 321-room boutique is positioned in Melco Crown Entertainment’s new integrated casino resort City of Dreams Manila in Entertainment City, Manila in the Philippines.
“Internationally acclaimed, innovative, world-class hospitality is a core component of the City of Dreams experience,” says Clarence Chung, chairman of Melco Crown Resorts Corporation. “I am thrilled that our collaboration with chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Nobu Hospitality partners Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, together with the entire Nobu Hospitality executive team, has resulted in the creation of this destination hotel. We are convinced that the development of highly-exclusive, luxury lifestyle offerings is a key driver in inspiring growing numbers of the region’s luxury-leisure destination seekers to visit Manila and the Philippines.”
F&B offerings include cuisine crafted by chef Nobu at the property’s signature contemporary Nobu Restaurant, helmed by Nobu executive chef Zachary Hillberry, which includes an outdoor cabana-styled dining terrace situated on a platform deck.
Additional amenities include an in-room menu featuring Nobu-inspired items, the lobby’s Nobu Lounge, the Nobu Teahouse, a spa, and fitness center.
“Our exciting mix of celebrity-inspired sophisticated style, bespoke luxury hospitality and outstanding Nobu-inspired cuisine, really does offer something totally unique to Asia’s discerningly stylish, trend-setting guests who are looking for the ultimate luxury-lifestyle experience,” says Nobu Hospitality CEO Trevor Horwell.
