Marriott’s Autograph Collection has announced four new additions to its global portfolio with properties in Florida, Michigan, New Orleans, and the Netherlands.
The Saint Hotel Key West, located blocks away from Mallory Square on Duval Street, promotes a playful, laidback aesthetic. Onsite offerings include the infinity pool and waterfall, the Southern French Creole eatery Temp, and the red-toned Burgundy Bar. A second-floor deck provides optimal views of the island’s numerous parades and festivals. The property has been revitalized from the historic Southern Cross Hotel, one of the oldest in the Keys. Following a $22 million purchase and refresh, the 36-room hotel reopened in 2015.
More than a century old, the Q&C Hotel and Bar in New Orleans’ French Quarter houses 196 modernized guestrooms, a fitness center, and numerous modern amenities following a 2014 overhaul. The warm lobby welcomes guest with a living room-inspired design that embraces the hotel’s historic charm.
On the banks of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay, the Inn at Bay Harbor revels in a calm, nautical-inspired atmosphere designed by Boyne Design Group. Adorned with 34,000 gem-cut crystals and almost 200 lights, the stunning chandelier serves as the centerpiece of the renovated lobby. Furnished with deep blue wingback chairs, marble tabletops, decorative light fixtures, and a fireplace, the inviting lobby provides a relaxed environment encouraging guests to linger. Available onsite are the full-service spa and salon, the Vintage Chophouse & Wine Bar, and the Arthur Hills-designed Bay Harbor Golf Course. Included among the 123 one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites are fully equipped kitchens, marble baths, stone fireplaces, and balconies boasting unmatched sunset views.
Finally, housed within a transformed convent and chapel, the 95-room Hotel Nassau Breda in Breda, the Netherlands, houses several meeting spaces and an elegant restaurant designed by Simone Teulings of Odyssey Hotel Group.
