Marriott International’s Autograph Collection has announced the launch of Kameha Grand Zurich.
Marcel Wanders designed the independent hotel, playing with mixed materials and color to pay homage to Swiss culture.
Of the 245 rooms, there are 11 individually themed suites, including the Poker Face Suite, fitted with roulette tables and Kameha poker cards; and a the Serenity Suite, appointed with yoga and wellness accessories.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kameha Grand Zurich as one of the first newly constructed hotels to join the Autograph Collection and to launch our presence in Switzerland,” says Julius Robinson, Autograph Collection vice president. “Autograph Collection is growing rapidly in the lifestyle hospitality sector, and we believe that Kameha Grand Zurich truly embodies the philosophy of our collection by showcasing creative design and a playful personality.”
Guests can choose between two restaurants: L’Unico, which serves Italian cuisine, and Yu Nijyo, which specializes in Japanese cuisine and sushi. Drinks are available at Puregold Bar, which takes its name from the gold palettes on the walls. Two tobacco lounges are located onsite, and the Kameha spa offers treatments, therapies, and facilities, such as saunas, a steam room, and relaxation beds.
The hotel has six business suites and eight banquet rooms for events to host up to 960 people, as well as the dome, an event area spanning over 7,500 square feet.
