Avani has made its European debut in Portugal with the Avani Avenida Liberdade Lisbon Hotel. Situated off the city’s tree-lined esplanades of Avenida da Liberdade, the hotel is housed in the former Tivoli Jardim Hotel following a $1.6 million refurbishment. Upgrades include touchups to the façade, lobby, and guestrooms.
The hotel’s 119 standard, deluxe, and family accommodations feature a contemporary design. Rooms are dressed in subtle shades of plum, black, and white for a serene aesthetic. Premier, deluxe, and family rooms are clad with balconies, while standard rooms include framed garden views.
The newly installed Olivier Restaurant features warm materials, such as wood flooring, suede upholstery, and mosaic tiles, and a palette of burnt sienna, azure, and burnished gold. Understated imagery depicting the Andorinha black swallow is featured on the wallpaper, while the outdoor terrace is wrapped with olive and ficus trees.
Amenities include an Avanifit fitness center as well as the Palacete Conference and Events Center located next door. The events venue houses three floors of space for up to 260 people.
