Best Western International has opened the new BEST WESTERN Bogor Icon as part of its expansion plan in Indonesia.
“Best Western International’s Indonesian expansion strategy is now in full swing, and BEST WESTERN Bogor Icon is another excellent addition to our fast-growing collection of hotels across the country,” says Ron Pohl, senior vice president of brand management for Best Western International.
Located in Bogor, West Java, the 16-story, 345-room midscale hotel is accessible from Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, and is a 15–minute drive from the Bogor Presidential Palace and Botanical Gardens.
“With its ideal location close to Jakarta and excellent transport links, Bogor is becoming a key destination for both domestic and international travelers,” explains Pohl. “BEST WESTERN Bogor Icon is an important addition to our Indonesian portfolio, complementing our existing collection of five hotels in nearby Jakarta.”
“Best Western International has identified Indonesia as one of its most important markets, and our arrival in Bogor marks another major milestone in our nationwide expansion strategy,” adds Olivier Berrivin, Best Western’s managing director of international operations – Asia.
The property follows the recent opening of the BEST WESTERN PREMIER the Bellevue in Jakarta and is the company’s 14th hotel in Indonesia and sixth in the West Java and Jakarta regions.
Amenities include a pool, fitness center, F&B outlets, meeting rooms, and a ballroom able to accommodate 1,000 guests.
