Best Western is preparing to unveil its new property on the island of Palawan in the Philippines in June. The Best Western Plus Ivy Wall is Best Western’s eighth location in the Philippines and the fourth midscale Best Western Plus to open in the country. Best Western previously opened locations in Manila, Makati City, Cebu City, Subic Bay, and the resort island of Boracay.
Located in Puerto Princesa, the island’s largest city, the hotel is only minutes from the Puerto Princesa Airport and a short drive to the Princesa Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Best Western Plus Ivy Wall offers 120 guestrooms and suites bearing contemporary Filipino designs. The new property also offers a spa, an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside bar, and an onsite restaurant. Three meeting rooms, a conference center, and a 3,229-square-foot ballroom comprise the hotel’s event space, along with an intimate VIP dining room.
