The newly constructed Brenton Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island is set to debut next month along the downtown harbor of the New England locale. Totaling six stories, the forthcoming property was designed in-house in homage to the architectural heritage of Newport, complete with a façade of wood siding, sailcloth stucco, and a stone base.
The lobby welcomes guests with a stately sensibility reminiscent of a nautical mansion, and a grand spiral staircase leads to an upper living room that houses a brass bar and framed ocean vistas via floor-to-ceiling windows.
Ranging from 450 to more than 1,100 square feet, all 57 guestrooms and suites embrace abundant daylighting, and feature nautical blue tones in tandem with brass and natural wood furnishings that evoke a sense of calm.
