The iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai has debuted its Burj Al Arab Terrace. The nearly 108,000-square-foot luxury outdoor space was built by marine construction firm ADMARES at a Finland shipyard and assembled onsite from eight pieces in order to minimally disrupt guest and marine life.
Stretching approximately 328 feet into the sea and linked by a central walkway, the terrace is flanked on either side by elegant cabanas and beaches. Designed to mimic architecturally the shape of the hotel, the terrace’s earth tones and striking white hues contrast the array of nature-inspired colors. The space also features two generously sized swimming pools: a 6,587-square-foot freshwater pool and an 8,912-square-foot saltwater infinity pool. Both shimmer in shades of blue and gold thanks to the 10 million mosaic tiles. The nearby beach is made from 1,000 tons of white sand.
Guests can also take in expansive views of the Arabian Gulf from the terrace’s al fresco Scape Restaurant & Bar.
