Caesars Palace Las Vegas will complete a $75 million renovation of its Roman tower. Original to the 1966 hotel, it will be renamed Julius Tower when it reopens in January.
Part of an ongoing $1 billion investment plan, the new 587-room Julius tower will feature contemporized rooms and suites—with convenient casino floor access—designed by Michael Medeiros of Los Angeles-based KNA Design.
The casino resort tower’s classically inspired yet modern interiors will feature a neutral palette with pops of yellow and blue, textured and lightly reflective fabrics, custom-upholstered headboards with bronzed mirror panels, and photos of Roman statues stylized with hand-drawn costumes. Select rooms will also offer a custom-designed chaise lounge inspired by a Greek klismos chair.
The 85-acre resort as a whole features 3,980 rooms that include the 181-room Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace and the Laurel Collection by Caesars Palace.
Caesars Palaces features 25 signature F&B options, such as the Bacchanal buffet, and celebrity chef-branded restaurants by Gordon Ramsay, Bobby Flay, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Guy Savoy. MR CHOW Las Vegas eatery will also open this December.
Additional amenities include a more than 130,000-square-foot casino space a five-acre pool area, the Qua Baths & Spa, the new 75,000-square-foot OMNIA Nightclub, the 4,300-seat Colosseum, and the Forum Shops at Caesars, which encompass more than 160 boutiques and restaurants.
