Auberge Resorts Collection has been appointed by UK real estate firm Reuben Brothers to manage Cambridge House in Mayfair, London.
Set to open in late 2025 at 94 Piccadilly, Cambridge House—a Grade I-listed former townhouse that previously welcomed royalty and political dignitaries—will feature 102 rooms and a private members club.
The hotel will evoke a classically English aesthetic while drawing on the eclectic influences that have made Great Britain what it is today.
Two leading designers will bring this duality to life: Jean-Louis Deniot will oversee the transformation of the property, and Laura Gonzalez will lend her talents to the dining venues, spa, and members-only bars and nine club rooms.
Inside Cambridge House
The hotel comprises several historic properties, with a Georgian mansion—commissioned by the 2nd Earl of Egremont in 1756—at its heart. Built to entertain the political and social elite, the property has been a hub of London life ever since, hosting Queen Victoria and serving as the home of the Duke of Cambridge and Lord Cholmondeley, among other uses.
Cambridge House will offer a host of venues, from an open-air jasmine courtyard to a brasserie-style restaurant in an elegant, Georgian ballroom setting.
Inspired by Britain’s healing lore and informed by its Roman bathhouses, the double-level spa will house hydrotherapy facilities, two heated swimming pools, seven treatment rooms, and a circular relaxation lounge with a fire pit. It will also include a gym, activity studios, wet zones, heat rooms, and a bathhouse.
“Cambridge House is one of the most exciting projects my family and I have ever brought to fruition,” says Jamie Reuben, principal of Reuben Brothers. “Our vision for this special property is not just to offer a new destination, but a new level of hospitality and something that London has not seen before. We chose Auberge Resorts Collection for the brand’s unrivaled spirit of intention, to provide a distinct and unparalleled luxury hospitality experience.”
Cambridge House is part of Reuben Brothers’ over $1 billion regeneration of 1.3 acres of the Piccadilly Estate, including the residential development of One Carrington and the cobblestone streets of Shepherd Market.
