A member of Leading Hotels of the World, the Canyon Ranch brand has lined up its first international location with Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort at Kaplankaya.
Located near Bodrum along Turkey’s Aegean coast, the wellness resort is slated to open next July.
Principal Carlos Ferrater of Spanish studio Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) is designing the 141-key hotel, which will revolve around geometric shapes, sustainable materials, and modern finishes. The environmentally conscious building itself will integrate with the region’s landscape.
Accommodations will include 75 hotel rooms and suites along with 66 enclave rooms and suites—all overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Amenities will include two restaurants and the 107,500-square-foot Canyon Ranch spa, fitness and wellness center.
