Newly rebranded as the Carneros Resort and Spa, Napa Valley’s former Carneros Inn has revealed the latest upgrades from its ongoing $9 million renovation by Flynn Properties and locally based studio Shopworks. Spanish for rams, the 28-acre property’s name references the area’s previous use as land for sheep grazing. An updated logo now features a ram’s head.
The team has wrapped work on the $6 million first phase of renovation, revealing a slew of enhancements. In addition to a revitalized family pool and a newly constructed guest reception, the Arbor is the property’s new wedding and events venue, while FARM offers fine-dining adjacent to the lobby. The agri-chic space features a new bar and outdoor terrace complete with a fireplace, overhead heaters, and lounge furniture.
The $3 million cottage and suite renovation is more than halfway completed, and the resort’s 86 cottages and 10 suites will feature modern furniture and a lighter palette to complement the property’s sundrenched, farm-style architecture. Each of the 17 cottage neighborhoods has also been updated with new names that reflect indigenous flora and fauna, such as lavender and fig.
