Construction is set to kick off this week on citizenM’s forthcoming property in Miami. Set to open as part of the $4 billion mixed-use Miami Worldcenter development, which will be designed by Gensler, the 351-room citizenM Miami Worldcenter will aim to reflect the influence of Miami lifestyle through a vibrant design that will employ contemporary art, photography, and furnishings. As in all citizenM outposts, the new hotel will host the brand’s signature rooftop bar cloudM, as well as its creative and meeting space, societyM.
“We are excited to collaborate with citizenM and deliver another sophisticated hotel experience in a thriving Miami neighborhood,” says Diana Farmer-Gonzalez, principal and co-managing director at Gensler’s Miami office. “As a Miamian living in the city, I am excited to be working with a brand like citizenM that redefines the guest experience through smart rooms and dynamic public spaces which provide unique environments for travelers, as well as for co-working, business meetings, and communal gatherings.”
