Conrad Hotels has celebrated its debut in Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Conrad Makkah in the Holy City. The 438-room property overlooks the Masjid al-Haram and the Kaaba.
Guestrooms spanning two towers include 62 suites ranging in size from 600 to 2,660 square feet. Interior décor draws inspiration from both modern and traditional Islamic design and is complemented by pieces of contemporary artwork. Featured among the onsite dining will be the elegant open-concept steakhouse Prime and all-day eatery Al Mearaj.
The hotel’s 12 elevators provide direct access to al-Haram while an onsite Masjid offering direct audio connection to Al-Haram is also available for up to 1,000 guests. Two separate meetings spaces can accommodate gatherings up to 100 people.
The Conrad Makkah is Hilton’s second brand to enter Makkah and the 11th hotel overall in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
