Hilton has announced the launch of its latest Conrad property on the southwestern coast of China’s Xiamen Island. The Conrad Xiamen is the first Conrad hotel in the Fujian province and the brand’s sixth in China.
Spread across floors 37 to 54 of the 984-foot-tall, sail-shaped Shimao Straits Tower, the hotel features 241 guestrooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city and sea. Averaging 645 square feet, each guestroom is equipped with walk-in wardrobes and hydrotherapy rain showers.
A 24-hour fitness center is located on the 37th floor of the building, offering a Jacuzzi as well as an 82-foot-long indoor pool with ocean views. More than 21,520 square feet of flexible meeting space includes eight multifunctional meeting rooms, a column-free 8,180-square-foot ballroom, and a nearly 4,100-square-foot foyer.
The hotel also includes five F&B venues: the Coast Bar & Grill; the Cantonese-Fujian fusion option Lucheng, which houses eight private rooms; the all-day buffet Pier 38; the high-tea/vibrant evening bar venue Plush; and Parisian patisserie French Kiss.
The Conrad Xiamen joins a Hilton portfolio of more than 70 hotels in China.
