Conrad Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in Japan with the launch of the Conrad Osaka. Housed across the 33rd and 40th floors of the Nakanoshima Festival Complex, the hotel is the brand’s first in western Japan and offers impressive views of the Osaka cityscape via floor-to-ceiling windows. The property evokes a modern chic style accented with traditional Japanese design elements.
All 164 guestrooms span a minimum of 540 square feet and feature a contemporary design detailed with traditional notes. Bathrooms featue double vanities, rain showers, separate toilets, and freestanding bathtubs. The King executive suite offers a panoramic backdrop of the city from its living room and private bedroom. The spacious Conrad suite houses several luxurious spaces including a lounge, dining area, bar, pantry, and walk-in closet.
Located beside the lobby on the 40th floor, the 40 Sky Bar & Lounge enjoys city views, while the C:GRILL debuts as Osaka’s first crustacean a la carte restaurant complete with pier-inspired interiors. The lively brasserie-like dining is equipped with live cooking stations. A theatrical dining experience is featured at Kura – Teppanyaki & Sushi.
The Conrad Osaka Spa features four treatment rooms, 24-hour fitness center, and a 66-foot-long heated indoor pool. Ample pillar-free, sunlit meeting space is also included with two ballrooms, one boardroom and a divisible meeting space. Designed with a private foyer and spiral staircase, the main 2,422-square-foot ballroom can accommodate up to 100 guests.
