Corinthia Hotel London has announced plans to roll out 11 new Garden and London suites later this month, designed by the local office of G.A Design. The new accommodations will be the first upgrades made to the property since its debut seven years ago.
Designed to complement the hotel’s existing suites and penthouses, the new units will be characterized by a residential style as well as outdoor terraces. London suites will draw inspiration from the city, appointed with a light, refreshing palette that accents the contemporary atmosphere. Cubist artwork and sculptures will also adorn the 1,130-square-foot suites, which offer the the option of expanding each unit with two additional adjoining bedrooms. The quintessential gardens of England will be celebrated in the Garden suites, which will overlook the onsite courtyard. Soft furnishings, live greenery, and green accents will perpetuate the theme of tranquility across nearly 700 square feet. Garden suites will also feature fireplaces in the living rooms.
“We created a world-class, 5-Star luxury hotel for the 21st century in the style of a grand English home,” says G.A Design London managing director Edward Davies. “We set out to create two new and unique types of suites offering contemporary amenities and state-of-the-art facilities to attract the most discerning of client. Art is a key focus of both new suite categories, with feature artwork and sculptures. G.A have curated a set of artistic spaces, which we plan to build over time into a full-blown art collection.”
