The Daxton hotel in Birmingham, Michigan is slated to join the Aparium Hotel Group portfolio February 2021. Designed by Chicago-based Simeone Deary Design Group, the forthcoming property will feature a minimalist-luxe aesthetic accented by a standout art collection curated by Saatchi Art that comprises nearly 400 works.
Vibrant colorways will further punctuate the Daxton, including chartreuse tones in the hyper-modern lobby, lavender parlors, and deep-burgundy accommodations. Each of the 151 guestrooms will feature a custom artwork from one of 160 artists representing 32 countries and numerous mediums. The design scheme will also explore the interplay of light and shadow to establish a pervasive ethereal mood. The hotel’s signature eatery, Madam, will host American fare within an environment punctuated by three wood varieties and lush greenery suspended from high ceilings.
