Part of Marriott Bonvoy, the Delta Hotels by Marriott brand has announced the debut of its newest outpost: Delta Hotels by Marriott, Riviera Nayarit, an All-Inclusive Resort. Perched upon a hillside in Mexico’s La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, the property features a clean, modern aesthetic by architect Jaime Barba that emphasizes comfort above all. Barba cites the resort’s natural surroundings as his muse, inspiring him to “blend the architectonic elements with the tropical forest and mountains with the lesser environmental impact, with a total respect for the nature, looking to preserve the natural site,” he says.
Situated between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, the resort is outfitted with a holistic materiality of stone, adobe, clay, wood, palapas, and natural fibers that reflects the indigenous roots of its setting.
Delta Hotels by Marriott, Riviera Nayarit comprises 117 modern guestrooms equipped with private balconies overlooking surrounding nature. Dual F&B concepts are also housed onsite along with four pop-up venues, two swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, and a spa that features 10 treatment rooms.
