Generator Hostels has debuted its latest design-oriented property in Sweden with the Generator Stockholm. The 11-floor location is situated near the city’s technology hub at Torsgatan 10, a short distance from Norra Bantorget Square.
Toronto-based DesignAgency crafted the accommodations with a flare inspired by the city’s culture. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with a palette of vibrant splashes of color and oversized pendant lighting, and the first floor offers a relaxed lounge and a flexible, communal workspace. Local cuisine can be enjoyed at the onsite café and bar while a standalone restaurant will launch later this year. Social spaces will also expand to host events that highlight local food, art, music, and design.
Nearly 800 beds are available across the 233 guestrooms, which range from suites to private rooms and shared hostel lodging.
