The new AC Hotel Raleigh North Hills has debuted at the heart of the city’s new North Hills development. Designed by Omaha-based architecture and engineering firm DLR Group, the seven-story, 133-room urban hotel is anchored in the location while conveying a sophisticated European style.
The outpost’s ground floor promotes street-level activity, housing 2,000 square feet of retail space as well as a covered drop-off and space for hotel operations. A dynamic architectural projection enages guests upon entry, expanding vertically along a glass elevator and beyond to the trellised rooftop deck. A unique sky lobby and amenity floor crown the building as the focal point of the structure. The amenity floor also features an open plan with panoramic views of the surrounding urban setting.
