Nordic hotel company Scandic is set to expand its portfolio with the opening of the Downtown Camper in Stockholm. Poised for arrival early next year, the hotel will act as a hub for urban exploration and community.
Designed by Swedish design practice Stylt Trampoli, the Downtown Camper will house 494 guestrooms and nine expansive suites that boast city views. Included among the accommodations will be the Camper Co-Living rooms, which will be designed with adjoined bedrooms and central gathering areas. A nature-inspired theme will characterize the interior, while also highlighting the urban properties reflected in the hotel’s surroundings.
Amenities will include a game room, a Nightwood cinema, the Camper Lounge, and the signature eatery Campfire. Crowning the hotel will be the Nest, a private rooftop wellness sanctuary. Set against a backdrop of panoramic city views, the facility will feature experience showers, a heated pool, a sauna, and a juice and cocktail bar.
