Dream Hotels has confirmed the development of its first property in the Middle East. In an agreement with Qatar-based Al Alfia Holding, the brand is planning the launch the Dream Doha. New York-based Meyer Davis will design the 325-room property, which will feature nine onsite dining options and nightlife venues. It will be Dream’s third international hotel following locations in Phuket and Bangkok.
The brand announced that its Doha project is part of a $1.5 billion pipeline in new projects. Five additional hotels are being pursued in cities across the U.S., including: the 169-guestroom Dream Nashville, also designed by Meyer Davis; the 260-guestroom Dream Dallas; the 175-guestroom Dream Palm Springs; the 239-guestroom Meyer Davis-designed Dream Times Square; and the 254-guestroom Dream Long Island City, located in Queens.
The brand is on track to open the five properties, as well as the Dream Doha, by 2019. The Rockwell Group-designed Dream Hollywood will make its debut this fall.
