Coral Gables, Florida-based EoA has been selected to design the new Guy Harvey Outpost Beach Resort at the former Holiday Isle Resort in St. Augustine Beach, Florida.
Owned and managed by affiliates of H.I. Development, the 152-room property will center on the life of namesake Guy Harvey—a famous marine artist and scientist, documentarian, underwater explorer, and conservation advocate—when it debuts next spring.
The renovation will include the resort’s registration building, meeting spaces, and poolside bar.
“[Plans call for] lightening up the feeling of cramped compartmentalized public spaces, creating more connectivity to the outdoors, and encouraging a carefree, respectful, nature-loving lifestyle as embodied by Guy Harvey,” says Malcolm Berg, president of EoA.
Additional Guy Harvey Outpost Signature resorts include Guy Harvey Outpost, a TradeWinds Beach Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida; and Guy Harvey Outpost, Islander Resort in Islamorada, Florida.
