The F&B-centric Epicurean Hotel in Tampa has debuted a sister property, Epicurean Atlanta, in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood. The hotel from Marriott’s Autograph Collection was crafted by locally based Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio (RJTR) with swanky finishes and modern style.
The 16-story hotel welcomes visitors with a medley of warm hues and a variety of textures that accent a viewing window that overlooks the kitchen of Reverence, the culinary heart of the hotel. Spread across 2,886 square feet, the signature restaurant is lined with rich wood tones and luxe texture, and features an expansive patio set against the backdrop of West Peachtree Street. “Focus is placed on the culinary creations occurring within the display kitchen as the surrounding interior sets the stage with its expansive leather-wrapped, zinc bar top and oversized wine display humidifier, which holds over 1,150 bottles,” says Bethany Harris, RJTR associate principal.
In addition to Reverence, the resort-inspired sanctuary Aerial Kitchen & Bar accommodates visitors on the ninth floor, while the posh Office Bar is populated with marble and leather accents, as well as novelties like personalized bourbon lockers.
Beyond the F&B spaces, Epicurean Atlanta features whimsy at every turn—like elevator lobbies punctuated with cloche- and decanter-inspired light fixtures and custom accent walls artfully repurposed with wine crates. A fitness center, resort-style pool, and the 1,964-square-foot Epicurean Theatre—an event and education space for culinary curiosity—round out the onsite amenities.
Organic tones and textures also characterize the hotel’s 178 accommodations, which includes 22 spacious suites. Eclectic furniture and artwork rooted in culinary connections animate each guestroom, while amenities like artisanal pantries, butcher block accents, and innovative technology promote indulgence and relaxation.
