The Executive Group has announced plans for its 17th property in the Executive Hotels & Resorts chain—the Executive Hotel Le Soleil, New York in Midtown Manhattan.
Slated to open in June, the luxury hotel will be a sister to the Executive Le Soleil, Vancouver and will maintain the lobby features of the original Vancouver property, such as the custom Soleil carpet pattern and Venetian plastered walls. High ceilings and intimate seating arrangements will place emphasis on the lobby’s classical architecture, modern fixtures, and furniture. Overall, the design is a contemporary twist on the traditional Executive Group model.
The 22-story tower will feature 163 guestrooms and suites, a lobby restaurant, and 800-square-foot rooftop penthouses. Most rooms will have separate bedroom and seating areas, and all will have Biedermeier-style furnishings and modern chrome and glass accents. Further amenities will include several meeting rooms and an espresso/cocktail bar.
