New York-based Jeffrey Beers International (JBI) and Clausen-Collaborative Interior Design (CCID) have completed work on upgrades for the Fontainebleau Miami Beach resort’s Versailles Tower and poolside cabanas, respectively.
Embracing a light and airy aesthetic, JBI was tasked with refreshing the Versailles Tower’s Bay View junior suites while maintaining their existing architecture. Accommodations adopt a more residential quality, including polished metal accents, geometric headboards, custom nightstands, and vintage-style lamps. Selected suites include a Jonathan Adler chandelier, hand-sketched artwork from property architect Morris Lapidus, upholstered panels, metal accents, walk-in closets, and entry artwork reminiscent of the lobby’s iconic bowtie floor design.
Two new guestroom configurations were crafted during the renovation—the Executive one-bedroom suite and the Grand one-bedroom suite. The Executive offers 270-degree Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay views, as well as a separate bedroom with a master bathroom equipped with oversized jetted tubs and glass-enclosed showers. Large parlors feature a wet bar, dining table, sofa, and second half-bath. The large-scale Grand also boasts optimal views, large dining room table, wet bar, extra half-bath, jetted whirpool tub, and a standalone tower.
CCID’s 33 remodeled cabanas are clad with warmly toned wood panel slats, sleek custom furniture, modern ceiling fans, and contemporary sofas and loveseats. Neutral fabrics and plush poufs enhance the warm palette. Staggered-height coffee tables have also been added.
